On behalf of the members of the Bishop Buddy Council, welcome!

The Knights of Columbus, Bishop Charles Francis Buddy Council #6031 was established for St. Gabriel's parish in Poway through a Knights of Columbus Supreme Council charter, on January 21, 1968. We were given the name Bishop Charles Francis Buddy Council in honor of San Diego's first Bishop.

Our local members and their families, along with more than 1.5 million dues-paying members world wide, uphold Catholic values by working together for a better tomorrow.

The Knights of Columbus are part of the community, and as such we have four main objectives:
  • To aid our Church
  • To develop Fellowship
  • To perform Charitable, Educational and Patriotic works
  • To provide a system of Fraternal Insurance
Since 1968, Knights of Columbus Council #6031 has established numerous projects and fund raisers to aid our Church, develop fellowship and perform charitable, educational and patriotic works.
